Murals and original art in Yorkshire

My name is Mark Hinch, and this website is intended as a reference for those wanting to commission a mural or painting.

It should give some idea of the style and scale of my work, though please don't hesitate to enquire if you don't see what you want.

I have developed my art work over many years, studying and exhibiting all over the country. I now concentrate on murals and art commissions, which I have been focussing on for the last 8 years.

I am happy to work in situ or at my studio depending on my customer, and I will always come out to view the intended area to give some idea on cost and timeframe.

My history as a working artist:

• 1981-1983: Studied Graphic Art at R.C.A.T (Rotherham College Of Art And Technology). Awarded National Diploma.
• 1983-1985: Studied Advanced Graphic Art at Granville College, Sheffield. Awarded Higher National Diploma.
• 1986: Studied Sign Writing and Design at Rockingham College, Wath Up-On Dearne. Awarded a City and Guilds.
• 1986-1990: I ran my own studio gallery in Wentworth, painting commissions in oil and watercolour, and doing sign work.
• 1990-2011: Working as professional mural artist and painter of commission and exhibition work.
